Easy Ways to Freshen Up Your Patio for Spring at Target

You guys!! Spring is in full swing here in the Northeast and it's finally time to get outside again! While my allergies may loath the Spring season, it's such a beautiful time of year with all the new growth popping up everywhere, the days getting a little longer each evening and the sun finally feeling warm on my face. Of course this year it feels even more revitalizing after what felt like a forever, always freezing, Covid winter in New York so I'm extra excited that we're turning the corner!

If, like so many of us, you've neglected your outdoor space all winter, no worries! Now is the perfect time to get it back on track with these easy ways to freshen up your patio for Spring at Target. Check it out!

If you're looking for new seating check out this set of rockers or a fun hanging chair. The rattan-like frame on this seating set and the woven material on the hanging chair make these pieces feel super organic and light, perfect for chilling out with a book or a cocktail on a sunny day.

Poufs like these are perfect if you need a little extra, flexible seating and a great pop of color or a bold, graphic pattern are easy ways to add a little interest to any space.

An amazing market umbrella is an absolute necessity for those super hot days that are quickly approaching. This one comes with integral solar powered LED lighting for when the sun goes down and you can't bring yourself inside just yet.

Inside. Outside. I love a good area rug! It's a great way to add color, texture or bold patterning to any area. Worried abut maintaining something like this? These are made to withstand the elements so just hose it off and you're good to go!

I love a couple of super bright, patterned throw pillows outside also! These all have some awesome saturated color and great texture with all the fringe, weaving and yarns. Use them together or ground them by mixing in some solid pillows, making these babies really fun accent pieces!

Bring the outside....well, outside!! Grab some cute, outdoor planters and add some greenery wherever you may be lacking. Try planters of different sizes and heights to keep some variety going and go with a selection of different plants and colorful flowers!

Ahhh, the bar! My favorite part! This outdoor bar cart is small enough to tuck away anywhere but it's also got wheels, making it easy to relocate when not in use. Don't forget to grab a cute bar set because every professional needs their tools, some plastic tumblers (if your friends are anything like mine, you'll need 'em!) and some great melamine bowls and a cute serving tray for snacks.

This is 100% a Mr. thing. He LOVES his wildlife so we have bird houses all around our yard. He's like a man-version of Snow White, honestly, but I've really grown to enjoy sharing our space with all those little critters season after season. Also, how cute is this Taco Truck Bird House? I mean, who doesn't like tacos? Just imagine a little bird tush hanging out the window asking about extra guac.

We're hitting all the senses here folks! I just love the sound of wind chimes. These ceramic beauties offer a great silhouette and the ombre colors are just outstanding! This is a super quick way to bring some color down from above.

Lighting plays a huge part in Interior Design. You want to layer it with different types of lighting (table, floor, overhead etc.). Maybe you already have some patio lights but grabbing a couple of these battery powered lanterns in different sizes and scattering them around your patio will bring some major ambiance. Finish with the beloved string light and your patio or backyard is ready for guests!

In New York, we don't always get access to our outdoor spaces all year around so when we do, I love to take full advantage of it! It's a great place to have some fun with your décor so go for it with some bright colors and bold patterns! And if you need some help, as always, you know where to find me!
