I do a lot of research. I mean.... A LOT. And when I'm working for a client, I can't help but think, I need this, I want this, this would look amazing in my house. I'm thisclose to getting a storage unit (or 20) just so I can buy some of these things and be able to visit them on the reg.
Some of the most swoonable pieces I come across constantly are gorgeous velvet sofas at all sorts of price points. I compiled some of the more affordable beauties here so you don't have to spend a lifetime searching for the one you want. Don't let the idea of "velvet" freak you out - It's flat pile and weaveless (pretty sure that's not a word but you get my drift) construction make it super durable and pet friendly. It will take a bit more maintenance than, say, a leather upholstery but it'll be worth it!

I mean....how can you not love this? With this deep green velvet upholstery and oak wood legs, this baby would look beautiful in a moody man cave or living space saturated in deep tones.
The clean lines, elevated, airy silhouette and chrome legs make this sofa perfect for any modern interior. Its available in a couple of other colors but I'm really loving this dusty purple for a great pop-of-color.
Organic shapes are popping up in all sorts of interiors and the rounded, chunky look of this sofa just seems to scream "NAP HERE!"
Grab this amazing burnt orange, channeled beauty if you're looking to make a real statement. This would work with a slew of interior styles; anything from an art deco vibe to something with a more boho or eclectic feel. Also, how cute are those little bun feet?! Oh, and did I mention its way under $2,000.00??
Is it just me or can you instantly imagine yourself lazily lounging away on this gorgeous merlot velvet, with a book and a chia tea on a rainy day? And don't miss that antique brass metal trim along the bottom, elevating this sofa all the way to the next level.
Beep Beep - C0ming through with a monster 100" channeled sofa, finished with a low profile, walnut base giving us just the right amount warmth for this huge statement piece.
The muted blue coloring of the upholstery, high, rounded arms and channel-tufting detailing makes this sofa perfect if it's a Grandmillennial look that you're going for. Add some patterned throw pillows and an ornate mirror to compete the look.
This bubbly baby just looks like a hug in sofa form and the clean piping and low profile add a nice modern element. Grab a soft throw and some popcorn and settle in for that Bravo Marathon you've been thinking about getting into.
Those swooping arms! That channeled back! The blush pink upholstery! Who has a sitting room in need of the perfect sofa because this is your girl!
This is the sofa of my DREAMS. I love a modern take on a Chesterfield with it's beautifully rolled arms, nailhead details and all over tufting. This amazing green, velvet upholstery takes it right to the next level with ease.
I think I just died. Wide track arms? Check. Brass metal accents? Check. Sumptuous, saturated, navy velvet upholstery? Check. What more do you really want?!
