I do a lot of research. I mean.... A LOT. And when I'm working for a client, I can't help but think, I need this, I want this, this would look amazing in my house. I'm thisclose to getting a storage unit (or 20) just so I can buy some of these things and be able to visit them on the reg.
Some of the most swoonable pieces I come across constantly are gorgeous velvet sofas at all sorts of price points. I compiled some of the more affordable beauties here so you don't have to spend a lifetime searching for the one you want. Don't let the idea of "velvet" freak you out - It's flat pile and weaveless (pretty sure that's not a word but you get my drift) construction make it super durable and pet friendly. It will take a bit more maintenance than, say, a leather upholstery but it'll be worth it!
